The real Amy Lee was born in 1981 on December 13th, not 1968 or any other calander year. Amy has written EVERY song that has HER name in the writing credits and nobody that wasn’t mentioned has any claim to said songs. Snow White Queen has absolutely nothing to do with Enter Sandman thats just someone desperate to connect two completely differant things. Bring Me To Life was inspired by Josh Hartzler Amy’s husband of nearly 5 years and was used for the 2003 motion picture Daredevil. My Immortal was written by Ben Moody(That is his actual name) about his grandfather and it has very little to do with the Beethoven composition ‘Immortal Beloved’ outside of the word Immortal. Michael Jackson and everybody on his creative team had nothing to do with the design of the Evanescence ‘e’ logo, and the ‘e’ is in no way inspired by Nazi symbols. To quote the FAKE “the song Lithium performed by Nirvana and by the band I named Evanescence” I feel compelled to point out an obvious instantly recognizeable flaw with this story the Nirvana song Lithium is NOT the same song as the Evanescence song of the same name. The singer Amy Lynn Lee Hartzler is not Amy Lynn Hartzler Lee as stated on The Real Amy Lee blog. Rocky Grey as you call him is Rocky Gray. At least look stuff up before you go lying about stuff, its not hard to look up the spelling or order of sombodys name. After all that is how you hijacked her name to begin with. The only online account that Amy Lee has is her personal twitter that I’m willing to bet you troll it like crazy just because you’re that special. Broken was not originally a duet and was sung and written by Shaun Morgan of Seether in 1998 or 1999, If FAKE Amy had really written such a great song in 83 like she claimed it would of been out much sooner. Yet again the failure to fact check is going to cost you another of your brilliant ‘ideas’ Mystery EP as you call it is in-fact Mystary EP and is a limited release in early ‘03. In that case your logic undid yourself because Mystary wasn’t a typo. Imaginary was one of the earliest Evanescence songs and was featured on Evanescence EP, it was not inspired by Kurt in any way or written by some stupid girl who claims to be a great songwriter just to get attention. You, yes I’m typing this as if I think you might see it… you have NO proof and you NEVER will be able to prove anything because lies can’t be proven to be true. What Exactly does the Anywhere but home album cover have do with the other ones you posted besides the one eye thing? I guess thats another random thing you do to trick people with subliminal messages into thinking you must be telling the truth. Haunted was not inspired by a rape at a def leppard concert, its based on a story written by Ben and the lyrics were written by Amy. They wrote a lot of the songs like that. Going under was not written by you and sure as hell wasn’t inspired by you and Kurt in a pool together! Since I’m sick of pointing out all the songs you havn’t wrote that you claim you did I’ll talk about the songs you actually wrote; NONE OF THEM YOU BIG IDIOT. I mentioned Sick in that sentence a song I’m sure you’d clame you wrote if you wern’t so busy lying about everything else you’ve done. Just because the words the open door appear in a song doesn’t make it the basis of an album title it makes it a coincidence, or is that a concept you aren’t familiar with? To quote you again “I auditioned the young lead singer around 1992 or ‘93. She already knew Ben at the time.” Here are the problems with that statement Amy met Ben in 1994 and the only reason you said 92 or 93 is because it works with your story so you can involve Kurt cobain in your ‘story’ because he died before Amy met Ben.

The pertinant facts

1. The real Amy isn’t you and doesn’t have a tumblr.

2. You didn’t write the songs you claim and that is copyright infringement.

3. You say the artist that say the wrote the music and came up with the band names are liars and that is slander which is illegal.

4. Get some help for your mental/emotional problems while you still can, but I suspect its too late for you.

Electric Lady: Enough is Enough Ben

I am sure I’m a bit late on this, but I just saw the two clips of Ben Moody on youtube talking about the new Evanescence album. I’m not sure if he’s drunk or it’s part of his bi-polar issues, but he needs to let Evanescence go already. I’m not making fun of his bi-polar thing, I have family members who have that and god knows it’s takes a lot of energy with patience to deal with it. I remember Amy Lee talking about Ben’s issues so that is why I bring it up.

I think his comment about the logo was so unnecessary. He takes full credit for the band’s logo? Ok..but the way he said it just made him sound like a brat.

The comments about the other members of Evanescence was very cold as well. “I don’t know who they are” and comparing one of the guys look to Maroon 5… is it a compliment or a diss?

He is entitled to not like The Open Door. I know many people who hated that album, which I still can’t fathom because it was a such a beautiful album. To me anyway.

To me, Ben is bitter. To see how far Evanescence has gone without him and to succeed must be killing him. His project with We Are The Fallen was never taken seriously. It was always taken as a second class ‘Evanescence’ and people thought Carly was trying to be Amy 2.0.

I noticed that all this time Amy promoting the new album, not one journalist has asked her about We Are The Fallen. Meanwhile when We Are The Fallen were trying to promote thier new album, all the journos’s ever asked Ben and Carly was about Amy and Evanescence.

I remember there was a huge amount of close people in Ben, John and Rocky’s inner circle who were going on the internet saying really terrible things about Amy. If it was to hurt her reputation, it didn’t work. The Open Door went on to sell over 4 million copies. Meanwhile We Are The Fallen’s debut album didn’t sell well and the band was eventually dropped from their label (or as Ben said they “left”….whatever heals the bruised ego faster).

It looks to me the only publicity Ben gets is only from Evanescence. God knows he milked it when promoting We Are The Fallen. He’s not in Evanescence anymore. It’s time for him to move on. He is the one who continues to stir **** with his comments. Why not say anything at all like Amy Lee? That lady is such a class act.

It’s been eight years Ben. Let it go. Let. it. go.
